Re: Treloar Roses
ive bought from treloar . the roses were good quality .. as for the free rose .. they sent me a dead one . even tho i sent pics to prove that
nothing was done about it.. i know i shouldnt complain it was free .. but they shouldnt advertise then they supply you with dead stock
makes me think twice before dealing with them again

Re: Treloar Roses
I have received 4 free roses this year from them and they have been among the best quality bagged roses I have seen. May I suggest you give Casee a call there as she has been a great help with any of my queries.
Cheers

I can tell you that there is always a better way to approach compliants and it sounds like you got the blunt end of a stick. Try Casee please as you have nothing to lose.

Re: Treloar Roses
No worries!
Maybe I was lucky but when I have placed orders with them this season I have followed them up checking on delivery dates etc and found Casee very helpful and would make sure things went smoothly and listened to feedback.

Re: Treloar Roses
I have been dealing with Treloars over 20yrs and I have never had a problem. A number of years back I did receive two free roses that were what I believed to be on the small side however I put them in pots and they grew into two magnificent bushes of Marilyn Monroe. Many years ago I read an article by Dr Bruce Chapman in which he advised to put new bare root roses in pots for twelve months before planting them out. Generally I do this and the roses thrive.

Dang. Just went to order a few more Paroles from Treloars, and they're sold out already. Daniel, I think you got the last or near last one ;-)

Re: Treloar Roses
Our Golden Son is an Aussie (ABR) bred by the late Trevor Grant which is a very attractive rose particularly in the bud form. I have grown it for a number of years and believe it is a good rose to show in the full bloom class. Two other roses bred by Trevor are Let's Celebrate and Governor Macquarie. Governor Macquarie which has perfume has great potential as an exhibition bloom.
