Mrs Dudley Cross
Mrs DC is one of my all-time favourites and looks her best here in autumn. I hope she's a good mother, because I'll be using her a lot for breeding in spring. These were picked this morning - lasts well in the vase.

Re: Mrs Dudley Cross
Has it ever set hips for you Dave? The Tea book says it usually self-cleans and rarely sets hips. I haven't bought it for this reason despite thinking it is most beautiful.
Re: Mrs Dudley Cross
True enough, Simon. I keep picking the flowers so haven't seen any hips, but I'm in love with her...and love is blind LOL.
I'll try pollinating the first flowers of spring. Tea hips take most of summer to mature, so I'm hoping for some good luck by pollinating early.
