Does anyone have these two ? I'd like a comparison to work out which one will be included in the upcoming Treloars order.

I have 3FFs and love them. Was thinking of a fourth to keep the glasses filled with red (not the shiraz), but then I ran across Red Cross, and remembered that some of you really liked this rose.

Really? I'm trying to imagine a rose that is more BOOM BOOM powerfully scented than FF, jordan, but now you've teased me onward...

Of the two Dan, which has the longer stem, holds longer as a cut stem or on the bush, and which has the better fragrance.

david out of the two, red cross has the longer stem, and holds it longer on the bush , i find fire fighter drops its petals rather quickly , and def red cross has a stronger more noticable fragrance

And RC has Fragrant Cloud as a parent. Okay, I need a new variety (apart from the vapourware Black Caviar). I know what FF can do, so it's time to test drive a new creature. Sold.

From what I read this rose, RC has several names, Loves promise, Matilda etc. I might be wrong, but isn't there an Australalian red cross rose?
