Thanks Paul. Yes, Joy of Life is lovely, especially newly opened flowers. Non stop bloomer.
Maree Crown Princess looks wonderful! Can't wait to see some pictures next summer. Actually being so close to your water tank could be an advantage. It can send its roots down under the tank, moist and cool. Bingo, magnificent covered arch!

David, I didn't mean to pressure Carole for a pic. If you get one of teh whole climber at some point, then well and good, but God knows there are plenty on HMF. Just always like to see the handiwork of my fellow members ;-))

Want to see some of mine right now? Sure, if you find bare twigs aesthetically pleasing or you're seriously into schadenfreude

Your garden is looking very lush Balinbear. I love Isabella Sprunt especially with the white and blue perennials to set her off. Romantic and elegant.

Your garden is beautiful Balinbear! William James Wright is a lovely looking fellow, and so are all the rest. I'm with Silkie, the companion plants are perfect with your roses. And i love the tantalising glimpses across the rest of the garden.

Thanks folks. It is amazing what a bit of rain will do. The roses and the rest have been pretty sad this summer.
