Lilia is an absolutely LOVELY person too... hybridising with Teas and gignatea as well as other healthy roses too down here in Tassie near Hobart. I'm not a huge fan of the 'Iceberg' sports (except 'Misty Pink' and 'Climbing Iceberg'. They are as good as the original white one here.. the others tend to be less healthy... maybe this is because they are on Dr Huey here.. so am going to try 'Burgundy Iceberg' on its own roots and on multiflora to see if it is healthier - I actually got OP hips from 'Climbing Iceberg' this year... will be interesting to see what they make. Also got a single OP hip from 'Burgundy Iceberg' and some from 'Iceberg' as well.) and FAR prefer her other beautiful roses. Do a search for 'Lilia Weatherly' on HMF to see her other roses. The pinkish climber called [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] is just beautiful.
