Cuttings and rust
Managed to get some cuttings today of a Dawson rose and I think some of the remaining leaves on the stems have rust. Spots of rusty looking stuff. I've left them in town for the moment.
Do I treat them with something (after stripping the leaves) to make sure I don't bring this to my place - where I don't have rust on my roses?

Re: Cuttings and rust
Wendy do you have any copper based chemical at home, that is as close as you will go without chasing costly stuff. Have you got a vineyard close, they should have some, you will only need a spoon full.

I'll have a look, David.
I'd dip / spray the entire cutting, yes?

Yes Wendy, I have edited this Wendy as you are online, can you get the copper, if so what sort. I would give them a quick immersion in it and let dry/paper towel
