Trying to find Roxy miniature rose
Hi I am hoping someone can tell me of a supplier/nursery that have a miniature rose I am after named Roxy. I have come across it in a rose show schedule, and have been told by one supplier they are trialing it so I am confident its available in oz but struggling to source it. Hope you can help!

Re: Trying to find Roxy miniature rose
I have written an article on miniature roses that appears in the June edition of NSW Rose. The article covers the development of the miniature rose, the outstanding cultivars that have been bred and those miniatures that have achieved hall of fame status. There is also a paragraph on the doyen of Australian miniature rose breeders Eric Welsh listing the miniature he has bred. Rosarians that would like an ecopy of the article should send an email to aurose c/- [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] requesting the same.
My top two miniature roses are Delicious(Welsh) and Irresistible that was bred by Dee Bennetts an Australian that migrated to the USA as a war bride having married an American serviceman just after World War II.

Debbie81, as you are in Victoria, call Treloar Roses, they are located at Portland Vic. Barry Dunbarr should answer the phone, he should be able to help.
Can I ask why your interest in this rose please ?
There are two of these, which one, links below,

Re: Trying to find Roxy miniature rose
Thank you. Treloar roses are trialing it at the moment. Do you know other businesses, even interstate, that supply Kordes and may already have it available? I am after it for a memorial. Thank you again for your help. Deb

Re: Trying to find Roxy miniature rose
Hi Roseman, I would be happy with either rose from your links as it is for a memorial and the name is the importance of my search for this rose. Thank you for your help!

Re: Trying to find Roxy miniature rose
Debbie81, if it is under trail there would be no other outlet that would have it for sale till the trial has been completed. You might have to get back in touch with Treloars and find out which is being trialed and "possible" release date. I would explain the reason for your search of a rose with this name.
