John that was the day I spent back at the hotel in Palmerston North due to an asthma attack and I believe it bucketed down all day at Hastings at the Cheops Garden of Georgina Campbell where there is a special McGredy Rose Garden that contains a collection of McGredy roses.

Former NZ president Dawn Eagles has written a book on roses "Down Under" that covers both Australian and NZ roses.

Do we know when/where this book can be found/purchased? Building up my rose book collection means having lots of knowledge from a Northern Hemisphere perspective. Be nice to have more from 'down under' ...

rosebud Dawn gave me a signed copy for my contributions to the Australian bred section so I didn't purchase it so I am not sure where to purchase a copy. I do have contact with Dawn so I will check with her and let you know asap where it can be purchased.
