White/Cream/Champagne Roses what is your Favourite Rose
I just love White/Cream/Champagne Roses. So Romantic, takes me back to Jane Austin Days where Gowns for Balls were adorned with Beautiful Flowers.
One of my Favourites at the moment is David Austin's Windermere. Mine is around 5yrs old and I keep it to about 90cms. It is little trouble, very little Black Spot & Flowers just about all the time. I am sure it cries when it is pruning time as it wants to put forth more buds. I also find the Aphids don't like Windermere as much either What are your Favourite White/Cream/Champagne Roses.
Another of my favourites at the moment would be David Austin's
Comte de Champagne, the colour is very unusual and it has a lovely scent. Again not a problem with Black Spot or Aphids. I have this one in for approx. 6 years and it is kept to around 80cms.
Another of my Favourites at the moment is the Floribunda Princess of Wales. My husband Graham calls her the Star of the Show. I haven’t had her in very long but she shows promise. No sign of Black Spot of Aphids, but Summer is on it’s way so that will sort the goodies out from the baddies.

It would be great if someone would start a Topic on Red Roses as I don't grow Red Roses and am sure everyone would love to see pics of what you grow.
Happy Gardening.

One that comes to mind is "Pascali"
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
It was used a lot as cut flower for it's shape, holding period in bouquets and fragrance.

As I have seen this one at DA garden and can't wait for it's arrival

Re: White/Cream/Champagne Roses what is your Favourite Rose
I checked out Tineke & Pascali on the internet, they look like beautiful roses, I can see why florists would use them. David Austin's Tranquillity is certainly one I will keep my eye out for, thank you for the headsup Roseman.

Danny you will be very happy with your Champagner, I think has very versatile usage with it's colour.

Re: White/Cream/Champagne Roses what is your Favourite Rose
Those creams, whites etc are just fantastic but not a proposition to grow here. As previously mentioned the Hibiscus Beetles are so attracted to white blooms making it almost impossible to have white roses for indoor vases.
I have one white (Crystallene) , spelling? that seems to avoid them but might be the position for it's a long way from the Hibiscus.

I have an idea for you for Hibiscus Beetles. What I do is put white bowls or ice cream containers of water out and the beetles are drawn to the white bowls and hay presto!!! floating beetles. Give it a try.

To be honest Danny, I had not heard of it "Isn't She Lovely ", so I went to HMF and looked at it, it comes from the Dickson family in the United Kingdom, long time breeders, very nice rose with good parents.

Re: White/Cream/Champagne Roses what is your Favourite Rose
Jardins de Bagatelle. Has a touch of blush, but presents pretty much as white. Never been equalled in my collection for its ineffable charm + Audrey Hepburn delicacy + exquisite fragrance. Has an elegant name, too Hard to source these days - I think Magic Gardens may be one of the last suppliers.
I still have my Ice Girl from last year. It's so who-cares. You have to wonder why Kordes bothered to release it. Promoted thus:"You'll love this one for its fragrance alone!" Call the rose porn police.

Re: White/Cream/Champagne Roses what is your Favourite Rose
The top white show whites in recent years have been Tineke, Memoire, Amazing Grace (Chapman), Pope John Paul, Fabulous, White Spray and Baby Jack. The first three are hybrid teas and are excellent exhibition blooms while Fabulous and White Spray are floribundas that often win Champion Floribunda ribbons and have been know to win best in show ribbons. Baby Jack which is a sport of the dominant show miniature Figurine has won a number of Champion Miniature ribbons.

Re: White/Cream/Champagne Roses what is your Favourite Rose
We don't have a lot of white roses as the dew in the mornings here and then the hot sun turn them brown pretty quick so if we have kept them we must like them.
New one that we have Molesworth Yellow ROR which is white with a bit of yellow between the petals looks nice

I have been looking up some of your Favourite Roses on the net & there are some lovely ones, only wish I had a few acres to grow all the roses I would like to be able to walk about, sit, think & smell. Wouldn't it be wonderful. But I am Dreaming again.

I dont think we have a lot of white roses. I have to agree with Betsy about Jardins de Bagatelle, it is just fantastic and has a nice sweet perfume.
Others I like is Elina, she throws up gigantic flowers, Fabulous is a wonderful floribunda and not to forget, Pope John Paul
I dont know if April Hamer would classify as a white or cream rose but I love that one as well
