We dropped in their when we were in Sydney about 5 years ago. Very overgrown but he owners were very friendly. Plants were a bit stalky but it was at the end of the season (April).

We have Ballerina, Bishop Darlington, Bonn (horrible colour), Buff Beauty, Corniellia, Cousin Essie, Eva, Felicia, Fransesca, Marjorie Fair (bloody vicious thorns on that one), Moonlight (out grew its spot a few years ago and it has been in a pot since), Muchen, Nur Mahal, Nyphenburg, Penelope, Prosperity, Vanity, Wilhelm and Will Scarlet
Did have Lavender Dream which did not survive a move, Erfurt that was going great but just suddenly died and Autumn Dream a few years back but can't remember what happened to that one.

Re: Seeking rare/hard to get Hybrid Musk roses
No Carole, I haven't!!! It sounds divine though!!
I asked a breeder if Bubblebath was available in Australia and she said it isn't, but that if I ask specialised rose breeders they may let me have some seed.. I am cofused! Does that mean it IS in Oz but not available for sale, or did she mean I should ask overseas breeders???

I have no idea my young friend. The only bubble bath I have comes out of a bottle
There are pictures of Gary's lovely garden on the forum somewhere. I will have a look for them and try and put them up so you can see them. If that fails then Gary will have to put more pictures up so you can see his slice of paradise.

Deb
We have a gallery of our garden and the roses etc at:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
It probably needs updating but there are not too many roses in there we don't have but there are several that have not been included as yet. Now the weather has settled down a bit, things might grow a bit better and we can get some more photos.

Re: Seeking rare/hard to get Hybrid Musk roses
Yes Deb
You will love Gary's garden. I was there with some other people last Sunday and that is my third visit. It was worth every moment of the three hours drive down and three hours drive back to Toowoomba. The garden was magnificent and not just the roses. I have attached a picture from last Sunday.

It is great to see two Queenslanders who don't submit to the Bali look and endless palms and grow Heritage roses which do so extremely well, especially the teas the chinas. I vowed never to grow another palm when I left Brisbane.
I came home with a plant of Perle des Jardins. Thanks Gary and Lee
