No Sue, my wife Carole is. We are going back for a month in 10 sleeps, but we are not counting.

It is on the forum, if you go the the online nursery link. I will fix it later as some have had trouble downloading it, give me couple of hours, it will be there, by the morning, I promise.

Umm, yes Roseman, I can quite agree with you about not counting the sleeps. According to 2 of my good friends who live there, it's rather cold for the time of year! Take your thermal stuff! Have a good time though.
Cheers, Sue

Sorry, Roseman, forgot to thank you for going to the trouble of downloading the nursery link. I'm sure you've got enough to do right now! Thank you.

I had forgotten there is a copy of shortened version of the Thomas for Roses Catalogue on the Rose Society of NSW website.

Not a very good exhibition rose as the petals are too loose and very rarely come to a point.
The most successful red exhibition rose in NSW is Kardinal.
I found at the QLD rose show, Kardinal and Veterans Honors seems to be really popular too.

Re: 'Papa Melliand' at Night
Hi Happy roses
Veteran's Honour (which is sold in Australia as City of Newcastle) is very popular in NSW particularly in our Bunch Rose Class. As an exhibition class rose Kardinal, Pope John Paul 11, Tineke and Moonstone seem to have had the wood on Veteran's Honour over the years. I have heard it said Veteran's Honour lacks petals to be a truly outstanding exhibition class rose.
BUNCH ROSES CLASS
These are roses registered as Hybrid Tea. Bunch classes shall be shown in single stems with no side buds and shall consist of three or five stems of the same cultivar to a vase unless otherwise stated in the schedule.A bunch rose should have a good length of stem and good foliage, blooms should be uniform in size, half open and at an even stage of development. Petals are to be more upright and not pelleted out as in exhibition roses.
