Papa Meilland

Papa Meilland is SO TALL now .. Pretty impressed. Has to be over 7ft because you can see it far over the fence .. Love this rose.

Not at all. This one has been one of the ones to withstand the cyclone winds we had. My black Magic was almost as tall (right next to it) and I had to cut it right back because it was so damaged

Blackberry Nip, Skylark, Scentimental, Angel Face, Black Beauty, Black Magic, Augusta Luise, Alec's Red, Mr Lincoln, Perfect Moment, 2 x Eyes For You, Kronenbourg, Candlelight, Abracadabra, Alpine Sunset, Beyond Blue, Blue Bijou, Blue Moon, Brandy, Chicago Peace, Chrysler Imperial, Falstaff, Double Delight, Ekstase, Figurine, Freesia, Harry Wheatceoft, Henri Matisse, Hot Chocolate, Lavender Mist, Love Potion, Papa Meilland, Paris 2000, Peace, Peach Profusion, Red Intuition, Stainless Steel, The 'Thank You' or Friendship rose, Transplant Australia's Thank You Rose, Triple Treat, a Red striped Delbard (mislabelled), Heart Of Gold and Black Velvet. I am sure I've missed some though. I have a white one which hasn't been identified.

Do you have Shocking Blue , or Blueberry Hill , i've always wanted to try them but as usual its space , space , space ....

Nope But I would love to hear if anyone does. I love all those beautiful mauve colours, closest we get to blue I guess

I don't know - I'll nick out tomorrow and have a sniff.
I prefer roses with not too much scent - if they have too strong a scent, I don 't like them inside.

Lol, the stronger the better for me Barbara, but strangley enough , i don't like strong spray on perfumes , how big is it Barbara ? Thanks ...
