12 degrees C tonight here 30Km south of Hobart. Got the air con on warm.
Thats how it is in Tassie. When we get a hot day it is very seldom followed by another. It can be in the 30's one day and the low teens the next with snow on elevated areas.
Another nice thing about hot days here is it usually cools down at night so you can go to sleep. But it didn't this recent hot day which is unusual.
So you never go out without a jumper or coat.
That one hot day on Thursday burnt off the lawn too.

Hot here one day...and the next, and the next, and the next, and the next Stunned The wife and i hope to sell up and head down that way in the years to come. I know everyone complains of the cold, but you have to live up here in summer to know what heat and humidity is about. And it's not just the odd day here and there, it's every day for months at this time of the year !! You go outside to do a bit of work around the house or garden and withing 10-15 minutes you're back inside sweating like crazy. Nah, give me the cold weather any day !!!
