How's the rain going down there. Are the roads still cut in your area?

Re: The Weather
Hi Gary, at present we are ok, the only roads close to us personaly are a couple of bush roads which go under at the sight of rain. All the creeks are running, some just need another 10ml or so and will over flow again. It appears that we are getting rain/showers once a week. It has put the Lucerne grows backwards as they can not get onto the paddocks.
As for the rest of the state, Forbes to the south of us is the town which copped the worst from the Lachlan River is starting to get back to normal(whatever that is), but if they get any of the pressure system from Soth Australia they will be isolated/flooded again.
Gumboots are pretty much norm at present for a good part of the day.
It looks like part of that cell from SA went your way overnight, did it get you ?

Re: The Weather
We had a thunderstorm at 4AM this morning. That plus the rain we had yesterday totalled about 1 mm and it is now a beautiful sunny day. The rain that has been coming across the country in the last month has mostly missed us. We got about 20-30mm a week out of it which is not much for up here but September-October are our dry months.
Anyway it has been nice weather to walk around with a hose in your had watering and pulling weeds before breakfast.
