No I don't Rosalie, but it looks fantastic, long ago one would have called it "pychodelic baby"

Didn't affect my GPS this morning. It was reading 10 satelites which is pretty normal for that unit as it doesn't track the russian ones.

Re: Solar Weather.
It's been a few years since I've seen a decent Auroral display but back in the late 80's there was one powerful enough that it was seen in Perth.
By that time I was living on the farm down on the south coast at a place called Jerdacuttup and I had seen a few there ; a great place for skywatching as there was next to no light pollution.
So when this one danced in the skies over Perth I knew what it was but my younger sister and brother were a bit freaked . Mum was sick in bed but with the lights off and her curtains opened right up , the swirling coloured light were strong enough that you could see them from her room'
Anyway , here's a bit more of an update ; southern sky watchers might still be in with a chance to view an aurora in the next few weeks.

This is another site that I have bookmarked in my Weather and Geophysical folder.
