I've got a 'Princesse de Monaco' that I am hoping has sported (climbing) but until the buds open I'm not confident that it isn't a dratted rootstock!!
The thorns look identical to the original. The leaf shape is identical - just the colour is slightly lighter.
First blooms are out on the bush... now just waiting for the mystery buds...
(Interestingly, I notice that on HMF there is a Cl. version of 'Princesse de Monaco'... hmmmm)
