Re: Found - Rosa wichurana
Simon, Rustons have it listed. Could add it to my spring bud order.
Can't see it anywhere near me but may be in Parramatta Park in the Rumsey collection. Have just looked at the rose groups listed there which are Species Roses and Wichuriana Ramblers, no individual roses listed.
Will look further if you are unsuccessiful.

Re: Found - Rosa wichurana
Thanks Bruce. I have some that are very close but I'm interested in trying the real deal too. I have some VERY special seedlings just pop up too. I had some seed sent to me from the U.S. of Mr Moore's breeder known as 0-47-19. Well... they've just started germinating and I'm very excited about it You can read about 0-47-19 here:

If you are a member of HMF you can see, when you are logged in, just how important this rose is by looking under the lineage tab on its HMF page to see just how many descendants it has: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] .
If can manage to get any to adulthood I'd like to use it extensively as well... I think it still has a lot to offer, in a slightly differnet way to how Mr Moore used it.
