Wanted Australian Bred Roses
Should anyone have or know where I can locate any Australian Bred Roses. Parks, State rose gardens, private collectors. Have been going through the nurseries catalogues and have a few ear marked for this winter.

Re: Wanted Australian Bred Roses
Hi Bruce - I have a few of the commonest Alister Clarks - Lorraine Lee, Borderer and Sunlit. I also have Alister Clark, Laurie Newman's sport of Marjorie Palmer. You are welcome to cuttings from those, if they are any use to you. I'd need a bit of warning to get you Lorraine Lee because she's in the mountain garden.

Thanks Meryl, Thanks for your reply, I have Lorraine Lee bush and Lorraine Lee climbing as well. Will look into the others you listed, and get back to you.

Re: Wanted Australian Bred Roses
I also have Mrs Alston's Rose (another Alister Clark) which is a small polyantha and 'Lady Huntingfield'. If all goes well with my 'Nancy Hayward' cuttings there will be a few plants of this available soon too.

Thanks Meryl and Simon for your replies.
We had a light frost here yesterday so will contact you both in Spring. Success is more difficult to achieve when plants are exposed to frosts.
