The first frost is always an exciting moment to take photos of the remaining roses.

Isabelle, your photos are stunningly beautiful. I am enthralled by each one.
I also had a little peek at another album in your blog, of old roses. The first one you have there is Black Prince. Do you have this rose growing yourself so thatyou know it very well? I ask because it looks a lot like a "found" rose I have.
Here is a link to photos of my rose:

I wouuld love to know if you consider the two roses to be similar or the same.

I've been looking at your album and I don't think it's Black Prince because of the coulour. Mine is very, very dark. Yours seems to be lighter on the edge. The buds also seem to be different.
I am not a specialist so I cannot identify your rose but anyway it's gorgeous.

PS : All the photos on my albums are roses I grow in my garden.

Thank you Isabelle for your help. I have been trying to identify this rose for a long time and I think my chances are not good. But I keep trying! Dunno
Now I know it is not Black Prince. Thanks again. Very Happy
