Nice flowers Bruce.

It is interesting how a persons brain works. When I look at your photos the perfume from the yellow roses comes into my mind and I can smell them. Yet it does not seem to happen for the other colours

Gary, that is so fascinating. I always love those stories about people who associate letters, numbers or musical notes with colours, and this seems like another variation on the theme.

Lucky yellow roses don't smell of sulphur, eh?

Thank you for the comments.

Louise my plant were only new last July and are in pots at the moment. They are doing extremely well and get lots of nice comments. The seem to be in bloom all the time with a big flush coming at the moment. I hope to get them in the ground soon

Regards
Bruce

Heart of gold is a very strong rose, mine is up about the 3 metre mark. I find with the cooler weather that the blooms are of a deeper colour than in the heat

Teneke, like all my roses are young, due to relocation to the Hunter from Queensland. Next year is when I should start t see a vast improvement in my roses and yes I do love Teneke it sits alongside Pope John Paul
