Re: Lots of Roses
I so enjoy looking at your beautiful roses Dan, so sumptuous. You are a master at rose pot culture. I don't know how you do it. Love your Francis Dubreuil especially. Mine is just a tiny thing but already has had 2 flowers with a new can emerging. She seems a bit darker than yours, almost black.

Re: Lots of Roses

Francis is hard rose to take a good pic off , it is very dark rose , but what's even darker, and you may like prince Charles , it has couple of buds on it so far. will take pics as they open

Re: Lots of Roses
More beauties Dan, just gorgeous. Love them all. That Vanguard had me checking HMF quick as a wink, love, love, love it. Then I saw the size it grows to. Bummer. Not for my garden then. Lovely photo of Munstead Wood. I've been in love with Munstead as soon as I planted it last year. What a fabulous rose it is, like a rich jewel lighting up a corner of the garden. This year its buds are much bigger so it promises to be even better this season.

Re: Lots of Roses
Silky, 'Vanguard' is a good rose, the measurements on HMF are at the extreme in size. I have 2 of them. They want to be taller than wider. If you shape it I am sure it would behave.

Lovely Dan, as always. Never get tired of looking at roses so don't you dare stop. Gee that Mary Queen of Scots is a thorny gal isn't she. Wouldn't want the job of pruning her.
