Re: Percipitation
As of now 6AM we have had a total of 64 ml:rain: since 7AM yesterday. It is cloudy outside but the rain has gone. Timely for the crops in the state. For me I had placed 3 bags of Supaphosphate on my lucerne and 4 bags of Multi-grow on what is named as the horse paddock, thank you the rain Godsroseman wrote:These are total as per time,

Still light rain and from looking at the map more to come, thanks Wendy, how much have you had Gary or anyone else.

Re: Percipitation
14.2ml total here. I don't know why I even bother mentioning it. Don't know if the plants will get much satisfaction, but I'm sure the paralysis ticks and the brown snakes are rejoicing :-(

Re: Percipitation
That's still a good amount. If you've been dry then it will be an excellent time to water the garden.betsyw wrote:14.2ml total here. I don't know why I even bother mentioning it. Re: Percipitation
We have had a few storms over the last 24hours. We have had about 40 - 45 mm. It was great. Not to heavy and it soaked in well.
So ends my 6 week sojourn from mowing the lawn.

Re: Percipitation
It's been dry for several weeks and the pastures have been starting to dry off (*sigh*) but after a slow drip start yesterday we've finally started getting a decent drop. About 10mm so far today.
It'll be just perfect to let me remulch the rose beds...

Re: Percipitation
Forgot to finish before I sent it.
There was lots this size. I picked this up after the storm and it probably melted a bit. Also lots like large golf balls.

Re: Percipitation
Hope the hail didn't do too much damage, Balinbear. The storm passed over us quickly with no significant rain either. Black skies, a bit of noisy thunder and a few fat rain drops. So far this week we've had about 11mm with neighbours 3 minutes away getting 21mm. Prediction for lots more rain next week. I should be focusing on mulching thickly to soak up some of the predicted excess.

Re: Percipitation
I am sad to see the hail that has fallen and hope there has not been too much damage occur.
We don't want the hail but what we do want is rain, just up the road in Greenbank they had hail & quite a bit of rain. We live near a road called Boundary Road and it really is a Boundary, when it rains it seems to stop there.
So send it down Huey we need it....

Re: Percipitation
We are getting "water from the sky" if anyone can remember what it is, 6mL yesterday and 6.5mL upto 7am this morning with "promises" of more till Tuesday. It has just started again now as drizzle but we will take any and all given graciously, thanks. Anyone else get any.
