So happy I ordered this one. Heard so many good things about it here at RTA, and y'all's endorsement has always proven to be spot on.

Give her some time to establish but my goodness the roses this bush produces are amazing. Love!

Rosy

It that leave hopper damage (the white lines where the clorophyll has been sucked out) on the leaves?

Best thing with all the rain we have been getting is the hoppers have been washed away!

But gee haven't the roses taken off after the dry.

This one caught my eye at a nursery last year - I remembered some ravings on here about it - and I was tempted. But at the time I was only getting St Brigid's Rose so I held off... *SIGH*

IMF says it has a strong, fruity sweet fragrance. I suspect she's on my List .... Augusta Luise 4044620662

Yes fruity from what I can remember!
And Balinbear I have no idea what the white lines are. I haven't been in the garden for a while with all the rain, but haven't seen any leaf hoppers. Only a couple of grasshoppers and leaf cutter bees (which have completely destroyed some of my potted roses).

Leaf hoppers are very tiny little suckers. The ones we have are white and can make a bit of a mess of then leaves but they are not that big a deal.

The rain apparently isn't going to stop. We have had half the rain we usually get in a year in 2 months! Crazy. But I love the rain I shouldn't complain.

Oh no Sad Out garden bed came like that. It's about 20m long and it comes around a bend with a retaining wall and then the pool is next to it but lower than the garden bed. I think when the pool was dug out they used the dirt/clay for the garden then he put good soil on top. It has great drainage so we just got lucky.
