thats way too dark to be a neptune imho...also the petal shape and count are different between the two flowers

So your post as of 14.09 is your 'Neptune" photo, am I correct at saying that. the one below is Dan's, again is that correct.

I am not the authority here, all the photos have differences. Whether it be today or your next chance Dan can we have a shot with it in the sun.
After that we go for leaf and thorns.

Re: CHARTREUSE DE PARME- MOTHER AND DAUGHTER- NEPTUNE-OLD BLUSH- PARADISE-TAMORA- WILLIAM MORRIS
I could do a couple of things . At present I WILL not. WE are a family here so I think. There are two possibilities, some one has the wrong rose, we have found this before. We need to assemble all photos first

Re: CHARTREUSE DE PARME- MOTHER AND DAUGHTER- NEPTUNE-OLD BLUSH- PARADISE-TAMORA- WILLIAM MORRIS
After looking all the photo's there is a difference between them all.
WE need the following
1. Three stages on bloom, sepals, open, blown
2. A cane from the same stem, open for thorn and leaf
3. Shots of either shade or sun, has to be noted
4. Delete the whole discussion and call it

Bearing in mind also the different growing climates - heck, you can have the same bush producing slightly different colours depending on temperature.
Leaves, buds, thorns etc will be a huge help here...
