Re: EYES FOR YOU AND FRANCIS DUBREUIL
We got a little on the weekend and the garden has just come to life! We have water restrictions here still so it's hard with a pool to water every garden we have.

hi maree,
eyes for you in my opinion is a slow grower , it loves the sun , hates the shade .. in my opinion it is a healthy rose . no sign of mildew or blackspot .. mine was bought very very small, it is getting there . i had one bloom last year , but this year it is fantastic .. 5 blooms to come my way .. hahaha
and maree ive gotta say , the scent is amazing .. very fragrant

Re: EYES FOR YOU AND FRANCIS DUBREUIL
And may I add, one of the only roses who didn't succumb to the dreaded aphids on all my other roses! No black spot at all too.

Re: EYES FOR YOU AND FRANCIS DUBREUIL
out of 50 roses, only about less than 10 succumb to aphids.......it would be nice to know why this is so....

Maree my EFY is in a pot. It's been in there 8 weeks and is almost too big for it lol. Has to be by far the healthiest plant I have.

Re: EYES FOR YOU AND FRANCIS DUBREUIL
I bought it bare rooted from Treloars (so I am not sure) it was such a skinny brown twig that I thought it was going to die. And now it's one of my most healthiest!

I would assume it has its own roots, but I guess I can't be sure? I am still new at this and can never tell.
