Re: The Rose Paradise
I first heard of this nursery at Box Hill in Melbourne in 1999. The Hannemann family run it. I have tried a few years ago now to phone but the phone always had its message bank full. Then I used an old order form and sent it my snail mail. No answer. I tried to phone again around 2008/9 and spoke to the lady who said to send the order again which I did and still no answer. Then I checked with a very well known member of the Victorian Rose Society, Ian and he said he thought they were still operating. I hae one of their Aussie Bred minis called Ruby Treasure and love it but alas it appears that it will be an only child with my luck or lack of it. Would love to know if it is still operating.

Re: The Rose Paradise
Have you guys heard of Sikies Rose nursery , they have a good range as well , have bought quite a few roses off them , and the owners are very nice , they usually have a stall at Melb flower show every year , i don't think their suppliers are the usual Treloars or Swanes , nothing against these guys , they are very good , but i think their supplier is or used to be a South Australian supplier . They used to do their own , but they downsized , all organic , as well ..

Re: The Rose Paradise
I've had a few (really good quality) roses from Rose Paradise over the last few years. As far as I know they are still operating (but not with mailorder). Communications seem to be a bit lacking..... best option is probably just to turn up!!
Last time I was there they were only selling potted roses (ie. not bare-root).

To be honest I can't remember much of their list (not being online doesn't help). Most of the "regulars" I would presume. They had a good range of minis?
Price-wise I can't comment. It's been several years.
