i am renting , i wish i could .. have other roses in the front yard to enjoy , few varieties lots of yellow's and pinks
so till i move to my own place, guess all my roses will stay in pots.

roses are hard to maintain their health in pots , i know its extra work for me but its rewarding when you get beautifull blooms

we have a member who has over 200 roses in pots(none in ground) and have won many a comp with them. Her only downfall is that every day she spends 40min hand water them with a hose....

wow, that is amazing neptune, in my case i'm starting to run out of room ... and believe it or not i did have one of my roses in the front garden and someone decided it was nice enough to steal

Best thing I found for moving potted plants safely when we shifted was the horsefloat. They were protected from wind damage , the heavier pots could be wheeled up the ramp on the sack trolley and hanging baskets could travel .... well hanging ; they didn't have to sit on the ground.

It's just sad when people resort to such low measures. It's one of the reasons mine are all in the backyard..Don't want to take the chance especially when I've travelled a fair way to get a rose that I couldn't get locally.
