Charles Austin when crossed with modern's can give quite interesting results. Crossing with cupped moderns will give you structures similar to the OGR's types , and when crossed with exhibition style flowers , will tighten up the structure with extra petals.

The perfume of Charles Austin X with modern's is normally quite strong as well.

Did the budwood arrive yet? 'Ebb Tide' would be great with some of these. Picture a dark purple DA style flower.

You would 'nt believe it , the bud wood arrived 2 days ago , have already budded , but this heat here is pretty high, 39.5 yesterday, just hope they will take. Dark purple Austin style would look good
