Simon, I have used Eco-rose myself, the results have not been outstanding. I haven't combined it with Eco -oil yet so I'll give that a try.
My roses have got every fungal disease except Tinea this year because we've had rain. I have just about given up on spraying for the moment.

Orchid40, spraying in Sydney seems to be a complete waste of time.
The seasons come and go and so do all the bugs and fungus problems.
Instead of propping up the unhealthy ones I am trying to aquire roses that make better evergreen bushes 12 months of the year. Nearly 30 years ago selection was based on bloom form and fragrance. Unfortunatly These had to be propped up with 7 to 10 day spraying with double strength Triforene and single strength Mancozeb and Lebaycid. This is a great recipe for reducing your immune system opening the door for cancer.
Because I am on acres have to choose larger types as those small 500 to 700mm high types just seem to get lost here.

I hear you, Ozeboy!
If it was financially possible I would replace my HTs with evergreen roses, there is wisdom in hindsight. However, I am committed to care for the roses I have now, and although they make for hard work and get diseased I still love them. I have never run away from a challenge! If any of my present plants die I will not be replacing them with HTs.

Simon, it's been in the ground for ages and is doing really well. I t had one bloom a few weeks ago in the really wet week we had, so I didn't get a photo.

Is it a once - bloomer?

Nope - blooms all season... really glad to hear it's been liberated Clap In the first year you won't get many more than 1 or 2 flowers. In the second year you'll get more but not a lot, and in the third year it will hit its stride and flower non-stop. All of my Rugosa except 'Ann Endt' have done this. Ann Endt is in its first year here and it hasn't stopped flowering all season. You'll notice that in the first year it won't actually grow a whole lot. It's making roots. Then you'll notice in the 2nd year it will begin to spread. Then in the 3rd year it will make some height and really start to grow strongly.
