Rugspin Rose
Good Afternoon Everyone,
I shouted myself a Rugspin Rose this season and it has just bloomed for the first time so I thought I might share the little event. Nice perfume to boot.

Re: Rugspin Rose
Lovely rose Brett, you will enjoy this Rugosa, hardly any problems with it, no disease, pests or similar and as you say the fragrance is a bonus.

Re: Rugspin Rose
I planted Rugspin in the school garden a number of years back where we hold our Regional Rose Society meetings however the rootstock has gone feral and it is only a matter of time before it takes over the plant.

Re: Rugspin Rose
Oh, love that foliage! I have a 'thing' about foliage. I'm a bit obsessed with the matte blue-green Alba foliage, and I can't wait to get Ghislaine de Feligonde for her tiny little glossy leaves.
I'm even thinking about some hybrid spinnosissima roses, their foliage is so tiny and cute
Anyway, I got Rosarie de l'Hay and Sarah van Fleet this season - I've healed them in but they're getting planted in their 'forever' homes in no-mans-land tomorrow. I hope they're as pretty as yours.
