A problem with friend's brand new Laguna. Can someone diagnose?

A picture tells a thousand words, any chance of one. It is my guess, a deficiency, possible iron. How old ?. we need more info.

Thansk, roseman. Laguna is very young - just ordered earlier this year. Arrived in perfect health from Trelaors, so no issues with seller. Will ask for pic,and probably post tomorrow. First guess was iron deficiency, but since this rose was planted in fabulously rich mix, it's not what came to mind.

Without seeing the leaves, but it sounds like sunburn...... so a question to be asked is to when did this problem started to show and what was the temperature like.....

All the leaves on my roses look like that at the moment. I think it's because it's winter and they're about to fall off. They do it every year, these yellow standards under the cherry tree.
But my new Kathleen Harrop didn't get the message. She is still leafy green and smashing out new growth.

Why does it have leaves on it anyway Betsy? All my roses from Treloars are naked sticks.
