Winter or Rain
I guess this should live in the "Oddball Conversations" but it can live in the "Social Pages".
Now that winter is only one sleep away, as in Saturday are we, more like me, am I going to get any rain. Question, did Neptune get any, did Wendy get any/or going to get any, if I do i will pass it onto Hariet and others further North.

Re: Winter or Rain
Please send rain. We have had to buy 12 000 litres of water for the house. Our teenage daughters can't cope with the restrictions and neither can my roses. All rain dances gratefully appreciated.

Re: Winter or Rain
We have had some pretty heavy showers over the last few days. Filled the tank and watered the gardens.
Hope you all get some over the next couple of months.

it appears that Hariet did not get her share by this link, I pushed from this end and Gary was pushing from his end, they have not met up yet,

Re: Winter or Rain
it is drizzling, might not do much for the tanks, but the plants will enjoy a soft rain at a warmish temperature (about 8 degrees) ..

Re: Winter or Rain
We had 5mm this morning and had about 30 over the last weekend.
I'll admit we were never as badly off as most..... A Little Piece of Paradise is this valley... (the black spot is happy too. )

Re: Winter or Rain
How are we all going with the rain?
At last we have some sunshine. I had to work out in the rain for the last few days and you have no idea how hard it is working on a 45 degree slope that is mostly sloppy wet clay (nicely chopped up by cows being on it)that is slowly slipping down the hill with rain pouring down on you. I can tell you it is downright unpleasant.
Now I am finally back in the office and the weather today is beautiful. Lee is at home so I hope she is out in the garden.

Nice amount of rain had here.
Some roses still with blooms. But time to try and get some pruning done.
