we had rain

This was a 10 acre block of lucerne this morning, now called Lake Greg.

This is the mode of transport in the morning as our road is under 1 metre of water to get to work

Re: we had rain
Hi David and Carole, how have you been ? I am sorry I have not been keeping in contact. I have bad news about Ray, he will not be alive for much longer. He is toughing it out though, as I heard recently from the nurse that when he come home from Dubbo Hospital they had expected him to live maybe only a week and that was 3 to 4 weeks ago. He has lost so much weight around his legs and let the upper part of his body is swollen and breaking out in sores where the fluid is leaking. What a curse cancer is.
We have had over 150 mls with the last two sets of rain, and the creek has been roaring for days, it sounds like the surf because it is comming through a big causeway and part of it is blocked with parts of trees. Where Ray started digging the dam is full of water and looks like a dam, one day I will get it dug out properly. Ray only had a old tractor to move the dirt with.
Glad to hear you both have got rain Simon and Balinbear, should be a fanstatic Spring and early Summer for roses and plants.

Hi Karen, so sorry to hear your news. Ray seemed to be well and on the mend when you called last.
Keep your chin up and love to you both.
