It's Hybrid tea Rose. Not sure guys woman who I got it from told me it's Frangrant Charm ,but that's wrong FC is red.I reckon it's Frangrant Cloud and she got the names wrong..As for Frangrance it did have one,but the flower was out in the heat for a couple of days and weared out.

The next fresh bloom will tell you a lot. Fragrant Cloud is a powerhouse of a scent. Charm is loevly, but nowhere near as intense and as interesting (IMO only)
From your pic, this rose looks very red, much truer red than Cloud, more like Charm.

Cloud is my favourite rose of all time, danny. I have a few, but I always want one more. Why I call her Flagrant Crowd ;-)
Having said that, I only claim it as my own particular personal fav, and do not presume to proclaim it THE best rose ever.

Flower is brick red, more a deep terracotta. No blue at all, so never magenta.
Health: I have never had any problems with this one, but she's not bullet-proof, so don't expect a modern shrub style robot. She's has excellent growth habit, nice medium sized bush and pleasing shape, not floppy octopussy or Olive Oyl skinny/tall. Rebloom is quite good.
Remember that you are buying this one for classic virtues and a unique fragrance.
Best bet is to get a really good plant. If you don't find a gorgeous specimen at a nursery, where you can choose one that is proven, I'm going to draw a long bow here, and suggest you get yours from Magic Gardens in Vic if you go the mailorder bareroot route. You pay a bit just a bit more, but in my experienece with these olderand extensively re-re-re- propagated varieties, you get a RELIABLY better plant than other places, where some are good plants, some not so good.

Re: Help with identity of a rose ??.
My Paroles had a great bloomiforous start to the year, then I moved them around and around and around. They have registered their displeasure at all this relocation by stopping in their tracks. They are in perfect full=leafed health, not a speck of bs, no die back, no nothing. They just sit there, snapfrozen in time. Never have seen anything so peculiar.

Betsy , i know you are moving pots around , but i dig up and moved , Parole , Big Purple , Best Friend , Princess De Monaco , in the dead of winter and pampered them and none of them did any good after that , they stayed stunted and unproductive , not moving any more roses , just bin em and plant new ones ....

Re: Help with identity of a rose ??.
In the case of these two older (six years) Paroles, I dug them up, put them in refreshed A-grade potting mix and new pots (very large). They seemed to find this arrangement agreeable, and staretd producing. Then I decided I needed the good pots elsewhere, dug out the two Paroles again, and put them in same sized but weatherbeaten pots.( Same type of large fibreglass phoney baloney stone look things. )
Maybe they resented the social downgrade, maybe their roots were disturbed once too often in a short space of time. Whatever. That was back in November, and they haven't produced so much as a new leaf since then.
Maybe they/ve decided to forgive and forget, because I'm seeing just a teensy bit of new red growth now. Just a bit.

Haha Betsy, your poor Paroles don't know whether they're coming or going, in, out, up, down. No wonder they're stunned after giving their all. Tell them you're sorry and hold your breath.
I agree about Fragrant Cloud although mine are still babies (biggish ones) still in their original pots. I just love, love, love their flowers and fragrance. Danny you won't be disappointed. I always poo pooed that colour, reminded me of ghastly lipstick, but then I'd only seen them in other gardens with that proverbial row of HT clashing colours planted along the front fence. In that situation they can look garish and out of place. Need softening. I don't even know if those plants were FC. Mine are not so much lipstick as coral terracotta, beautiful at every stage from bud to full. A real look at me gal but refined and classy. I'm just waiting for the weather to cool a bit before they go in the ground.

Lemme see ... there's light coral, there's dark coral. At the paler end, it's a mid- terracotta pink with a tinge of umber. At the darker end, , it's a mid-red tinged with umber or orange. It throws no blue at all, so is an earthy range of red-pinks.

When I think of Terracotta it makes me think of a browny orange. But everyone's perception is different
