It has only flowered once so far looks like it maybe a climber and has a strong fragrance. Can anyone shed some light on it?
Thanks Tamara

Re: Trying to find out the identity of my white rose?
I know this rose is not Boule de Neige, I am wondering if maybe it is Lamarque or maybe Milkmaid? The flower has 46 petals (counted them from the flower that dropped all its petals this morning, it has a high centered bud that starts out a creamy yellow then turns white as it ages. It grows very well and hit over 2ms tall at one stage. it is 12mths old and has only given me 2 flowers, it has a nice fragrance, but this is all I can tell you about it.
Can anyone help me?

Ummm ... it's not Lamarque. Doesn't *help* I know, except by elimination! And 'Milkmaid' is another Noisette, and I don't think the leaves on yours really look like a Noisette ?
ETA: although the pics on HMF with the leaves ... wouldn't rule out Milkmaid I suppose

Re: Trying to find out the identity of my white rose?
The flower I had this week had a little more yellow in it, but silly me I did not get a photo of it (well too wet to get out to photograph it, then forgot when it was inside, would have this morning but it dropped all the petals when I moved the vase). I thought maybe not Lamarque as it does not repeat flower, it only has one flush a year (1 flower each time), so I am totally stumped.

Here are some pics of the Mysery white that I have just taken now

It is the one growing in the round stand, the stand is about 1.5m high and I just pruned back some of the larger branches yesterday. here are a few more pics of the flower from last year as well, the flower this week had a more creamy yellow centre.
