Ophelia HT rose
I bought this historic rose yesterday and have a choice of two spots to place her. Does she take filtered shade?

Re: Ophelia HT rose
Sorry Bonita, don't have it but Peter Beales website indicates it will take a bit of shade. Very beautiful rose, good luck with it.

I know of Ophelia (and she's on my List To Get) but I don't have any experience of this rose... sorry. :/

Re: Ophelia HT rose
Thanks Autumn Damask and Silkfizz for your replies. Bonita
I have attached a picture of me in my rosy hat in a friend's rural garden outside Toowoomba. June grows wonderful old heritage roses, lots of natives and the grandchildren describe the petals that drop under her magnificent camellias as "grandma's carpet".
