Rankins roses in Victoria , who have lots of Delbard roses , say it is there pride and joy , i have to agree !!!

Great pix, great news about Henri, maree. I have been leery of Delbards since the hype about Chartreuse de Parme was tempered with real reviews (not so hypey). I'd love to have an outside-the-box rose like this one. If you have it, then it must pass the fragrance test ;-)

It has a nice fragrance Betsy , not show stopping , but nice , i like it because its a healthy bush too , although it has taken three years to get there ,same as Chartreusse , it has taken three years too , Chartreusse a much stronger fragrance , both smallish bushes ....

I've often been tempted by Matisse. Good to know it's healthy and smelly! Love the look of most of Delbards but like you Betsy, bit leery.
