Ordering roses used to be easy
You would order a rose and they would send it to you.
Here's another that doesn't seem to match the label.
Ideas?!? (It's supposed to be a climber)

uh huh.. nuh...
Are they all from the same place? You've hit a bad patch haven't you... I've never had a mislabelled mailorder one... but have bought bare root roses in body bags that turned out to be wrong (very wrong).

I know.
On one hand I tell myself that all roses are good and it's one more I don't need to have on the To Get List. On the other hand... I kinda wanted some of the ones I paid for. And yes... the not-Aimee, the not-white Wings and the not-dainty bess are from the same place. On the plus side they did manage to get me a Tipsy Imperial Concubine. That makes up for a fair bit. Not everything though.

Yeah - I had several flushes of flowers last summer. New buds getting ready at the moment.

As we have discussed previously, I won't go there this time. I have not had trouble - YET.

Re: Ordering roses used to be easy
Back on another forum, quite sometime ago, the same nursery earned the name 'Foggy Bottom"
Seems their slackness hasn't improved in the last 10 years or so.
