More Roses

Yesterday we, Carole and I went to "just to have a look" at a nursery up the road at their sale, 50% off bare root roses. We had to go, didn't we. So after "looking" we came home with 5.
2 DA's, Kathryn Morley, Clare Rose
1 Blackboy(clb)
1 Souv de La Malmaison
1 Blushing Pierre de Ronsard
Whats another 5 roses, just another 5 holes to dig, all is good.

I just threw away (been going to for a while now) 2 Kathryn Morleys.
Great flowers and purfume but BS was a killer on ours.
Grows easily from cuttings.

Hopefully I will be able to grow lots from this one. I collect DA's but there are so many to collect
Dan we have a small SdlM so we are going to move it and put the new much larger one in its place.
David is very good at digging holes - he should be as he gets lots of practice.

Jordan as they come out we will show them, as we are next to a river and lower than the rest of town ours are later.

I planted a Blushing Pierre de Ronsard the year he was a new release and thought he should be blushing: In spite of all the tender loving care I provided, he snubbed me and never showed one bloom. When I saw him for 50% off a couple of days ago, I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt, and try again; maybe he’s just a bit slow to establish.
