Re: 'Lady Huntingfield'
I have it too and I love it.
Saw a big one at an open garden in Woodbridge South Tasmania. It was at least 3 metres high and the owner assured me it was only about 4 years old.
They do use a lot of blood and bone in their garden. I saw bones everywhere!

Thanks for showing your excellent photos of Lady Huntingfield. I want more Alister Clarks next year, so this will be one of them.

I can't use B&B here... my dogs get into it
yep, it was rather off-putting. We deduced that the B&B was sourced from a local abattoir (how do you spell that?) and the bones were not crushed. There were leg bones, hoofs lying around. I didn't see any heads though. They must have tossed out the biggest ones.

Re: 'Lady Huntingfield'
I use Yates B and B which is quite fine and breaks down quickly.
My cattle bitch is on a maternity holiday at present so I am able to use it.
Normally she would empty the pots roses and all.
I budded Lady Huntingfield last season which has flowered this spring.
What a beautiful rose it is, very healthy Alister Clark.
