What a rose! One of my forever favourites. Have you got any more pics, Karen and Meryl? I'm trying to grow one up a flowering pear, but the possums are winning. But 4 years ago I planted one at the foot of an old apple tree in the farmhouse garden I look after over the road, and it's just starting to kick in. It will be quite a sight in another few years:

Dave, its certainly 'kicking in' ! Great spot for it a good photo of it.
Meryl has posted a photo of the whole bush on Rose Exchange. I only took one photo just before I was leaving Meryl's place. I am sure the blooms are larger and more beautiful down at Meryl's place in Sydney. Looks like its the the same for where you live, being on the coast.
