Re: colour of ripe 'AD' Hip
Berhard, mine also stayed green right to the start of winter so I just worked on around 120-140 days of age and harvested it when I thought it was this old. I just yesterday noticed I have my first germination from the AD seeds so they must have been mature enough. They take a lot longer to germinate than most seeds though so don't throw them out thinking you harvested them too early... they take a long time to germinate and need a bit longer in the fridge.

Simon, thank you, also for the tip regarding the stratification time. I will give them a warm treatment at the beginning too.
