does anybody know the colour of ripe 'Abraham Darby' hips Question Mine is pollinated end of May, the coulour did still not change to yellow or red. Dunno if I should harvest or not.

Berhard, mine also stayed green right to the start of winter so I just worked on around 120-140 days of age and harvested it when I thought it was this old. I just yesterday noticed I have my first germination from the AD seeds so they must have been mature enough. They take a lot longer to germinate than most seeds though so don't throw them out thinking you harvested them too early... they take a long time to germinate and need a bit longer in the fridge.
