Roses with No Names
I have got some new roses which I would like to share. These roses are imported from Thailand. They didn't have any names. I am keeping them at my work place. I had to keep a sign board saying "picking flowers prohibited", as we have around 40 girls who started pinching my roses. I am glad that these roses are doing OK in my hot and humid climate.

Re: Roses with No Names
Alee they are beautiful. Some even look oriental. Numbers 1, 3 and 4 strike me this way! I can imagine beautiful young Thai girls posing with them.
Thanks for posting photos of the complete bushes. I had forgotten what clean fresh leaves looked like. I haven's seen any like that at my place since last December!

Alee, some have cutflower/florist rose about them. The other thing is I don't like many single roses, but I like your pink one.

Hi Roseman,
how can you not like single roses? Think of Dainty Bess and Mrs Oakley Fisher. Think of Lilac Charm. Think of White Wings. They're all lovely!!

Re: Roses with No Names
Carole, Billndee, Roseman, Bemo and Barbara B thank you for your comments. It is the first time for me to see some promising rose plants. I had a hard time trying to grow roses before in my balcony, which is very hot. There are 2-3 plants which is still in bud stage. Will post their pictures when they bloom.

Re: Roses with No Names
They look nice and cool where you have them now Alee. At ground level and sheltered from salt winds by the walls.
I would like to know what the tree is that you are sheltering them under. I see its dark trunk and it does not look like a palm to me.

Re: Roses with No Names
Billndee, it is not a palm. I'll try to find out the details of that old tree. In the mean time here are some more roses. I know the names of some of these.

Re: Roses with No Names
Alee, Rose Edward is amazing, so beautiful. I have never seen it before how large are the flowers and does it have many thorns. It looks like a remarkable rose. Do any of the forum members know if we can get it in Australia?
