How to Breed Your Own Rose (new book 2024)

I am Irena Fabjan, an amateur rose breeder from Slovenia. This gives me great pleasure. My first beginnings were in 2011 - more about this in my book.                                                                                                            
The book written in English HOW TO BREED YOUR OWN ROSE with the subtitle, 5 Steps To Make Your Heart Bloom has finally seen the light of day. When I held the first test copy of the book in my hands, it was a special feeling for me. But it will be even more special when it reaches you, dear readers.                                                                                                    
Why did I write this book? Because it doesn't exist on the market, apart from two tiny little booklets with RHA instructions from America, which are excellent, but not in book form, there is no individual here with his whole story, which is exactly what I missed when I started studying it and I have always wondered why no one has written about it yet. No, I'm not as great an expert as many others who publish almost scientific articles about it, but I'm good enough for a book like this, which will bring joy to many, which is its greatest purpose.             Let this book achieve its main purpose, which has never been to make money, although I have been fortunate enough to be involved in this very organised way of selling, because in this way more rose lovers will know about the book. Well, as an amateur rose breeder, I'm more interested in who the book reaches. I want it to find its way to as many sensitive people as possible who love nature, gardens, plants and flowers and especially ROSES.  To first see the presentation of the book, what the content is and maybe one of you will pluck your sleeve.  If you are moved to feel the need to read this book, then you are on the right track.                                
And why is that important to me? Because then there will be someone else who, like me, will be drawn to this hobby.  It is also important to me that people are diverted from the premises to nature, to contact with the rose, to get what is otherwise hidden. And when you start, when you are in the middle of the work, this contact with nature is strengthened until you reach the goal. And then it begins again and again. All you will gain during this time is pure balm for the soul. Such balm for the soul is not sold, it creates and spreads itself, ennobling a person with a new joy that is incredible.....
