Hybrid Tea seeds
Hi all,
I have a Happy Anniversary Hybrid Tea rose. I was just wondering what the seeds from the hips will produce? Is it kind of a lucky dip as it is a hybrid rose?
Thanks

Re: Hybrid Tea seeds
Hello, the word " hybrid' in this context is incorrect, I can answer this further later today as I am just off to work.
If I may can i have your Christian name to work with.
Regards David.

Re: Hybrid Tea seeds
A bit of reading to start you off Jordan.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
here are some "Tea roses"
Anna Olivier, Archiduc Joseph, Baronne Henriette de Snoy, Catherine Mermet, Duchess de Brabant, Francis Dubreuil, General Gallieni, Hugo Roller,
Jean Ducher, Lady Hillingdon, Lorraine Lee, Marie Van Houtte, Mme. Lombard, Montrose Tea, Mrs. B. R. Cant, Papa Gontier, Safrano.
Here are some "Hybrid Perpetuals", again these are roses crossed with older ancesters,
Baron Giraud de l'Ain, Baronesse Rothschild, Baronne Prevost,
Ferdinand Pichard, Gloire Lyonnaise, Mrs.John Laing, Reine des Violettes, Souvenir du Docteur Jamain, Vick's Caprice, Waldfee, Yolande d'Aragon.
Jordan I will find a chart that shows the development of the rose tonight and add it to this thread.
