FlowerCarpet rose Empty FlowerCarpet rose

Post by AutumnDamask 8th January 2015, 06:13

One of the very first roses I ever bought myself was the FlowerCarpet rose "Apple Blossom".
It's a really tough little rose that has done very well.
About 10 years ago it threw up canes that were throwbacks to the original "pink" FlowerCarpet.
Now it always looks like a double-graft.... hehe I did try cutting out the dark pink for ages but it just comes back. It hasn't "taken over" so I let it be.

It does look like it is a double graft Wendy, I do like the darker pink rather than the soft pink. From memory it strikes pretty easy if you wanted to make border/edge of it.
