My courtyard is in full bloom at the minute, a few quick pics

Camille Pisarro

Paul I like the second shot of Camille Pisarro, it looks like it is saying "look at me I am so pretty".
The more I see Brass Band it will be going on the longer list for next year.

I agree with you David - reminds me of a girl leaning/hanging out of a window, showing off!!

Oh sorry Paul! Your roses are beautiful. They look so healthy! What fertiliser do you use please?

I think the only thing you can do is move to another place with a huge garden!!! You can then get more roses from your nursery and show us all how it's done!!

Although fertilizer is important it is a must to keep pests and diseases out of roses if they are too be like those Paul has shown us.

Thanks David, the first season I had Camille, I must say I wasn't impressed, Hardly grew, very few small blooms that kept keeling over. So, I thought of giving it another season, well I'm glad i did, she has grown and filled out really well, producing heaps of blooms that are a good size, so I'm well chuffed.

Thanks Sue, as for Fertiliser, this year I've changed to Munn's Betta Bloom, with Amgrow Seaweed and Eco Seaweed and I did slip in a little Epsom Salts. The Betta Bloom will be all they have until late February (here in Perth) because of our sizzzzzling summers, when ill give them another feed with Betta Bloom, of course they will get Seaweed regularly.

To right Ausrose, sometimes I feel that insect and disease control should be viewed more importantly that fertilising, imo, these things can be more devastating that over or under use of fertilisers.

Yes, it's very disappointing when the little "Bs" get the better of you and your roses!  Still, it's worth the effort!!

Although generally not a fan of striped roses I'd like Camille Pissarro if it's as good as it looks in the photos.
