Hello,
I have an announcement : we have decided to keep Warren in Belgium. We love his sense of humour so much

Re: Warren will stay in Belgium
I don't think so Isobelle, he is only on loan from the Australian Government
Isobelle, can you tell us/me some of the things he has been upto whilst in Europe.

Re: Warren will stay in Belgium
We made him discover our beers, chocolate and good food
He's the first person I show my garden in winter with all the naked roses and who seems so interested
Everybody here thinks he's from Marseille (South of France) when he tells us how high roses can be in Australia !

His passport is only for a month and he has to come back to his beloved roses here.

Hi Isabelle, you look so young in your photo, not 47. I am 50 years old this year.
I am glad to hear you have enjoyed Warren's visit.

Re: Warren will stay in Belgium
He has been home and I cooked "Carbonnades Flamandes" with chips, a typical belgian meal. We went to meet my neighbour, rose breeder, Emile Foucart. He also ate a big trout in a castle. And for the rest he 'll tell you because he must be arrived in the land of Oz now.
Re: Warren will stay in Belgium
Thanks Isabelle, I have just "Googled" "Carbonnades Flamandes" , looks good as we are coming into Autumn/Winter here, A must try.

Re: Warren will stay in Belgium
Hello all I am back. Had a very good time in Belgium and was shown some very good hospitality. Although it is pretty bare foliage wise at the moment , what supprised me was the huge amount of wild Daffodils growing in the oak forests.
Carbonnades Flamandes is yummy.
Met one of the Belguim rose breeders while over there call Emile Foucart, who has not been well but was an honour to meet. This is us in the photo taken by Isabelle's husband Bruno.

Oh I thought I would thrown in the new holiday house as well , has an extremely good water supply.

Re: Warren will stay in Belgium
Isabelle, I'm blown away by the Warren Millington roses. It's right up with your best and the music just suits a trip through a rose garden.
This music and trip through your garden as shown a few years ago has stayed with me all that time. Happily to resurface with Warren's roses. Is there any chance of getting it on DVD , I'm not very technical.
I am watching and listening on a very small Laptop but I want more.
Speaking of dreaming makes me think your next Video should be myself chasing Elle McPherson through the roses. That would really have to be called "Dreaming".
I'd have to go through the Time Machine and wind myself back 60 years.
All humour aside you have done a great job so better come and visit us soon or you might just miss me.

Re: Warren will stay in Belgium
I'm sure I would have a lot of fun with all of you in Australia ! I hope to be able to come one day...
My dream of growing Warren's roses in my garden becomes every day a bit more true. Just a question of time now. I am sure that in Europe people will be fond of them.
