Thanks The Estate. I missed answering your comment, I am sorry. I wished I had got more photos that day but I was too busy getting budwood that day for my grafting. None of those grafts from that budwood worked.

I am astounded at the size of Fantin Latour. I would love to now how old that bush is Rosemeadow. If it is quite old then I will relax a little! I have a Fantin Latour that is about 3 years old. It has suckered making three "plants" covering a ground area of about 1 metre. I don't particularly want it to grow as big as the one in your photo because it will grow out of its bed!
It seems to me that a lot of the Tea roses grow quite large and need a lot more space than the average rose bush. Am I right in thinking that?

Hi Billndee. Lynette started her garden about 15 years ago. Her Fantin Latour is probably around 13 years old, I will ask her.
There is one really big Tea rose at Lynettes, I think it is Souvenir d'Un Ami. I will get some photos of it and some others.
