Sombreuil Rose , Reine des Violette

I'm pooped , just cleaned up the spot for a climbing rose , pulled out a native climber , so now , some more names to throw at you , who has Sombreuil and Reines des Violette and do you like them ? RdV isn't listed as a climber , but it seems that it is a small climber , especially if you don't prune it from what i have read , would love some advice on these ones please ....

Sombreuil for my money Maree, I have it, but is young.

The flowers stood up well to the heat. Being white/whiteish they did not burn like reds do. As soon as get another flower I will post here for you.
The background information on this rose attributes all good to excellent reports.

Is it a rampant grower Roseman , my arch is about one metre wide by five metres long , thanks

Over time I believe it will get big, I have seen one in a Euc years ago.

We have Sombreuil but t has never really gotten past a metre of so high with only a few flowers.

It does better down south though.
